Join our family

Vipp is a collective of people, products, and places aiming to refine how we live with objects through long-lasting design experiences.

Many skills, one shared passion. We are craftsmen, designers, sales people, storytellers, number crunchers, copywriters, engineers, graphic designers and much more. In other words, we are many different professions gathered under one roof. But what we have in common is a passion to make functional, long-lasting products - timeless in their aesthetics and valued for the joy inherent in their daily use.

We are in it for the long run

In more than 80 years, Vipp has been family-ownedΒ and family-run. Today, Vipp is a third generationΒ family company owned by Jette Egelund, and herΒ children Sofie Christensen Egelund and KasperΒ Egelund who together with a team of 60 colleaguesΒ bring the legacy inherited from HolgerΒ Nielsen into the future.

We are not all family related in the literal senseΒ but think and operate as one with eye for ourΒ long-term values. Following this recipe allows usΒ to chase the big dreams instead of the short-termΒ profits. It enables us to continuously water theΒ seed that Holger sowed in 1939 which has alreadyΒ grown from a bin to a kitchen to a shelter. We haveΒ come a long way since the bin, and the journey hasΒ only just begun.
